VANCOUVER, BC - Switch Interactive began as an experimental new media shop, a 'sandbox' subsidiary of Fleming Creative Group, a design firm with 25 years of experience creating print, packaging, and POP for long-time clients including Nintendo of Canada. When the treatment for Broken Saints came to the team's attention in 2000, Switch jumped in head-first, incubating the first year of the internationally recognized manga- inspired series that went on to win 'Audience Award' at Sundance Online Film Festival. Since then, Switch has helped tell interactive stories for such companies as Propaganda Games, Microsoft USA, A&E, MRM Partners, Relic Entertainment, Brightlight Pictures, Resonance Films, and Haddock Entertainment, bringing together strong

design, streaming media, and well-crafted words. The studio has earned a reputation for an edgy vibe and strong conceptual approaches to niche entertainment projects ranging from advergames and microsites, to film titles and touch-screen presentations.

NEWS:
The holiday bug has hit hard at the studio. For some of us, harder than others as we celebrated the season atop Grouse Mountain on the outdoor skating rink. Some glided; some felt the bite of the ice. But a good time was had by all, overlooking a city that some of us have been part of for generations, while others have just more recently embraced, coming from Scotland, Germany, England, 'cross Canada and the U.S.

Some are going home this holiday; others to the mountains or south to the sun. Just a few finishing touches to go on a brand identity and website for a pro bono project that has strongly touched us all. Watch for www.peaceittogether.ca launching in the new year. It's what this season (and this world) should all be about! Happy holidays.
